TICKET QUESTIONS
Q: Will I have access to all levels of the Arena?
A: All tickets are general admission which allows complete access to the arena and all of its amenities. There is no assigned seating. Back by popular demand, tiered tickets are out and general admission is back – We are excited to go back to our old ticketing system this NYE and we hope you are too.
Q: Will the dance floor be closed off like last POPNYE?
A: There are many benefits to doing a rotating stage in the middle of the dance floor like we are having at POPNYE. The great part about the center stage is that it will double the capacity on the main floor compared to last POPNYE and will give an amazing view no matter where you are in the arena. If capacity is reached in any part of the arena it will be temporary closed off to incoming flow and reopened once space opens up. This process will be monitored closely to ensure the safety of all our attendees.
Q: Will I be able to see from the seating areas?
A: Remember this is an arena, not a stadium. Views are never that far away and energy reaches to the far corners when in 360. We have a beautiful production drawn up that will be an experience to remember from all levels and angles.
Q: If the main floor does reach capacity, how will the process of opening it back up work?
A: There will be entry and exit points on both sides of the arena this time and staff will be counting the exiting groups which will then free up dance floor space to incoming flow. We are confident our new system in place will work.
Q: What are the rules for entering?
A: You can come to the event anytime during the events hours, 5pm to 2am. There are no ins-and-outs, so once you enter you cannot leave and come back unless you purchase a new ticket.
Q: Why haven’t I received my ticket in the mail that I ordered from TicketMaster.com?
A: If you have not received your tickets by the time it says you were supposed to, contact TicketMaster immediately. They are pros and will get you sorted, don’t worry.
Q: Why can’t I have tickets shipped to an address other than my billing address?
A: Tickets will only be shipped to the billing address so we can help cut down on fraud.
Q: Will tickets sell out?
A: We get asked this question a lot and many of our events do sell out. We strongly recommend that you purchase a pre-sale ticket. Do not buy from scalpers as chances are it’s a fake ticket. We will also update the tickets section of the site as each price level of pre-sales sell out.
Q: Will tickets be sold at the event?
A: We will have tickets available at the Oracle Arena box office if the event is not sold out but keep in mind that buying day of tickets are always more expensive. We recommend you buy early and save.
Q: When are the tickets going to go up in price?
A: They will go up in price level as allotted ticket amounts are sold and this will be updated on the tickets section of the site.
Q: Is there a cheaper place to buy advanced tickets other than TicketMaster.com?
A: Yes, you can buy at one of the 6 Bay Area outlets for a $3 dollar service fee plus a 5% facility fee on top of the price of the ticket. You can also pay no service charge if you purchase in person at the Oracle Arena Box Office. It’s the same place you would buy tickets for a Raiders, A’s, or Golden State Warriors game. Please note that a 5% facility fee will apply.
Q: Are there ways to win tickets?
A: You bet! Visit our SKILLS FACEBOOK fan page and become a fan by “LIKING” us to be eligible to win tickets to POPNYE. We will announce different ways to win tickets as the event approaches.
